So you've set up your Greetly digital receptionist and everything is working perfectly! But maybe not all of your employees want the default notifications to stay the same. It's not uncommon for individual employees to have different notification preferences, which is why we created our notifications to be customizable.
Notifications are also free to your company, which means Bob in Accounting can receive an email when a visitor arrives and Susan in Human Resources can get a call, Slack AND text to be sure she doesn't miss her notification! Whichever notification your employees prefer is what they'll get, once these simple steps below are followed.
To customize check-in notifications for Bob and Susan:
- Log into Greetly's web-based admin at https://app.greetly.com/.
- In the navigation bar, select "Manage Users" or click the icon.
- Find the employee. On the right side of the row, click the pencil to open their profile.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and toggle each notification option on or off to that employee's preferences.
Greetly offers several notifications options: voice call, text message and email. Thanks to our integration partners Greetly can also send reception notifications via instant message via Slack, Teams and Google Hangouts.
